3rd & 4th October
Severe weather warnings meant Saturday 3rd’s abseil couldn’t go ahead, but most people were able to move to Sunday 4th and around 100 people abseiled. Thanks to all who took part – it was a great day! Prize winners were as follows:

The ‘Seasoned Professional’ Award for smoothest descent – WINNERS: Katherine Coll and Kenny Walker (bottle of wine each)
The ‘Perfect Timing’ Award for Best Photo – PRIZE: A Gordon Cowan Photographic experience for the moment of your choice (have the photograph of you or a group turned into a detailed painting to keep).

Night Abseil 3rd October
This was our most extreme abseil challenge yet! The event featured a live DJ set, hula hoop performances (LED light dancers), neo-rave themed fancy dress and of course abseiling in darkness for the ultimate thrill seekers.
It was so successful we’ll be doing the event again next year! If you’d really like to abseil at night for us you can go on the waiting list for next year’s event, likely to be in October 2010.
